Salva Resources at the 6th Ozmine Mining Expo, Jakarta

Salva Resources will be represented at the sixth Ozmine mining exhibition and conference to be held in Jakarta from April 17-18. The Ozmine conference brings together more than 2000 delegates from Australia, Indonesia and ASEAN industry and government groups, providing an excellent forum to discuss major trends, opportunities and challenges in the mining industry.

Given Salva’s exponential growth over the last twelve months, the team are well prepared to inform participants about the extensive range of technical and commercial services available from Salva’s Indonesian office.

Salva Resources – Mongolia Office Opening

Salva Resources is proud to announce the opening of our Mongolian office in Ulaanbaatar. The office, located in the Chingeltei District, officially opened in late February and has already propelled Salva in to the Mongolian market, providing key services in exploration, safety, geological modelling and mine planning. Our Mongolia operations are supported by an international team of geology and mining professionals, who work together to ensure each project is delivered on time and on budget.

Salva maintains a reputation based on the ability to work to best international standards on projects of all sizes and complexities. Salva Resources’s Talking Points Event

Salva’s inaugural Talking Points was held on the 9^th of March at the Queensland Rugby Club. Talking Points events aim to provide an opportunity to directly discuss key issues with primary decision makers and advisors in the mining industry.

The topic of this event was Queensland’s Latest on Land Access and Tenure Policy: What it Means and the Reasons Why. The Honorable Stirling Hinchcliffe MP, Minister for Employment, Skills and Mining, presented to a crowd of over 50 attendees from the mining sector and specialist environmental and approvals industries. The event was also followed by a Q&A session and networking drinks.

“Talking Points was a great chance to talk one-on-one with the Minister and for a high-calibre range of professionals dealing with tenure and approvals issues in Australia to mix and share their experiences. “ Stuart Fyfe, Principal Consultant – Environment Land and Approvals.

The event was very well received with all attendees enjoying the afternoon’s informal atmosphere.

Salva Resources at the 2012 IME Exhibition, Kolkata

From the 28^th to the 31^st of January, team members from Salva Resources India and Salva Resources Australia attended the International Mining Exploration, Mineral Processing and Machinery Exhibition (IME) Conference in Kolkata. Now in its fourth year, IME provides an ideal forum for miners, planners and policy makers to discuss the various issues affecting the mining industry worldwide and includes a showcase of technologies, new initiatives, products and services to the global audience. Salva Resources also promoted its’ services at a booth at the exhibition, which provided an excellent platform to network with key industry experts who attended the event.

Salva Resources – 2011 BRW Fast 100 winners!

Salva Resources is proud to announce that it was this week announced as a BRW Fast 100 company, officially ranked 9^th on the 2011 list.

The BRW Fast 100 list ranks Australia’s fastest growing, public and private, small and medium businesses. The quality of the BRW Fast 100 2011 was as high as ever, as businesses and entrepreneurs from all of Australia’s major vertical industries presented the solid business practises required to deliver growth in a downturn.

Lachlan Broadfoot, Salva Resources CEO and Grant Moyle, CEO of Salva Corp and co-founder of the business are humbled to receive this prestigious award and thank all Salva staff who have helped make Salva what it is today.

Salva's Footprint Grows Once Again

During 2011, Salva Resources has faced substantial growth, now employing over 230 people globally. This growth has been a result of strong relationships and consistently delivering services beyond the expectations of our clients, and ensuring that only the highest standards of work are achieved. In addition to employment growth, Salva Resources has rapidly expanded into key resource markets. At present, Salva Resources has staff working in Australia, Asia, Africa, South America and Europe. Until now, a large proportion of this work has been undertaken remotely from our established office locations in Brisbane, Kolkata and Jakarta.

Part of Salva's impressive growth can be attributed to the increasing amount of projects being undertaken throughout the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region. As a result of this work, Salva has established a permanent base in the region to oversee and manage operations. The office, situated in the City of London, was officially opened in early September and almost instantly began assisting companies with their mining projects, replicating the services which have made Salva a household name in the mining industry throughout the Asia Pacific region.
