SALVABase
SALVABase is a unique geological process that turns your hard copy, historical exploration data into an optimised data set. It is a tailored service that provides a great opportunity for project, exploration and production geologists working on mining projects of all scopes and complexities.
SALVABase affords project and exploration geologists the opportunity to evaluate areas, ascertain up-to-date technical data and receive accurate data points prior to performing any field work. It also allows geologists to incorporate historical project phase drilling into current and future data models. The process delivers a digitised secure dataset (and backup) of otherwise underused, at risk, single copy written data.
SALVABase converts the following formats into digital data:
- Written hardcopy field sheets and historic logs
- Coal quality, washability and sizing data
- Geochemical and sample assay results
- Hardcopy geophysical logs
- Scanned geophysical Imagery
- Maps, plans and sections.
Data supplied by SALVABase can then be used to highlight:
- Areas of prospective interest
- Presence of igneous intrusives
- Fault and fold structures
- Geotechnical stability domains
- Coal quality, opportunities and risk areas.
